LuvWorkingAtHome has a new video up entitled “Being Called Uncle Tom Is a Compliment.” Luv has now read “Uncle Tom’s Cabin” by Harriet Beecher Stowe and is full of praise of the book. Let me be clear right now that I, for once, happen to agree with Luv. However, what I find truly fascinating is her statement, “This book raised the awareness of the cruelty and evil of slavery.” Again, while I agree with Luv’s statement, she does not seem to realize the hypocrisy of it when one considers many of Luv’s other videos.
Here’s an example. In her video “Elizabeth Hasselbeck Phony Christian & Star Parker Schools View on Biblical Family,” Luv ranted on about Elizabeth Hasselbeck not defending Star Parker’s views about same-sex marriage (she’s against it – surprise!).
Luv states:
“You love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and body, and then you love your neighbor as yourself. You love God first though. You listen to what he said, what his opinion is, what his position on the issue is. God said homosexuality is an abomination to him. You cannot go contrary to that. You love God by following his ways. His ways are supposed to be your ways. You follow him.”
So the first time I am somewhat proud of
Slavery was established by decree of Almighty God. It is sanctioned in the Bible, in both Testaments, from Genesis to Revelation - - Jefferson Davis
